Welcome to the 2015/2016 Lake Highlands Girls Classic League Season.

Congratulations to all of our returning teams and newly qualified teams. We are excited about the high competition level for each of our age groups and divisions this year.

2015 definitely brought some challenges for all of North Texas Soccer, including record breaking rainfall that forced us to end our Spring Season abruptly. We appreciate everyone's patience as we worked through the logistics of wrapping up the spring and planning for the fall. Please familiarize yourself with the rules and playing formats for the 2015/2016 year by clicking here.

Here are a few important changes and announcements for the new season.

Club Player Pass:
The process is still the same but the rule has changed with regards to number of Player Passes and which division they can come from. Please review the rule byclicking here.

Tournament Conflict Requests:
In an effort to streamline the scheduling process and accommodate approved tournament requests we ask that teams attending tournaments in the Fall and the Spring notify us by the posted deadline. Click here to view the calendar which lists the deadline for fall and spring tournament requests. Requests turned in after the deadline will not be honored.

T Shirt Design Contest:
This year we decided to let the players come up with designs for our League Apparel. This contest is open to all currently registered LHGCL players. Did you know that the proceeds from our t-shirt sales funds our scholarship program? Last year we awarded $11,500 to Five very deserving LHGCL graduates. For more information on the t-shirt contest click here.

9v9 Coming to LHGCL in 2016:
The United States Soccer Federation (USSF) has released an extensive player development initiative which includes the implementation of small sided games for the younger age groups. LHGCL will begin with the '06 age group in 2016 playing 9v9 as outlined by USSF. By 2017 we will be fully compliant and U11 (07) and U12 (06) will be playing 9v9 in LHGCL. We will be working through out the year on logistics including field size, new goals, etc. for the incoming 06s. The first LHGCL 9v9 games will take place at the 2016 Qualifying Tournament.

Parking Expansion at UTD set to kick off in the fall of 2015:
As part of our agreement with UTD, we will be moving forward with a parking lot expansion at UTD. The installation of 201 additional spots will start to take form south of the existing new lot in front of fields 7-10. UTD will also add an additional gravel overflow parking area. We ask that you continue to use caution and obey all traffic laws when entering and exiting the complex. We do hope that the construction will not interfere with our soccer activities.  For a complete list of Complex Rules/Maps and other important venue information please click here.

Have questions about the league, your division or the rules? Please make sure to contact your age group commissioner. A complete list of all of our amazing volunteer board members and age group commissioners can be found by clicking here

Good luck this season and see you on the pitch.
