National Pathways Through the League Defined

For more than 25 years the Lake Highlands Girls Classic League has and continues to be the top choice for female competitive girls soccer and league play in North Texas. Our league structure and clearly defined National pathways continue to support more than 300 teams and 4000 plus talented players from all over North Texas. Many of our players have graduated straight from LHGCL and gone on to play at the collegiate, national and professional level. 

 

Girls Classic League (GCL)

As the competitive soccer landscape continues to evolve, we are proud to announce an update to our brand that is more representative of who we are and what what we represent.

 

 

Our acronym LHGCL has been a recognizable brand for many years and carries a tremendous amount of history. The Girls Classic League (GCL) will continue to carry that tradition forward and maintain a standard of excellence that supports our mission of providing the highest level of competition to inspire the development of collegiate, national and professional level soccer players. We are committed to maintaining excellence in soccer while instilling the values of sportsmanship and fair play.

The USYS National Championship Series, The National League Conference and The USYS National Presidents Cup Series afford all Girls Classic League (GCL) teams opportunities to compete in National Level competition by way of our League and through North Texas Soccer. The diagram below outlines the defined entry points into our league and advancement through these National competitions.
