Jr. Girls Academy Rules

JGAL RULES ALL DIVISIONS

  • Any coach or team manager to be seated on the players’ side of the field must be listed in the game report.  No more than three (3) adults are allowed on the player sideline.

General Information:

  • In JGAL 9U and 10U play 9v9.
  • 9U Players must be 2017 age pure. 10U Players must be 2016 age pure.
  •  A 9U (2017) may play up to 10U. Only (3) 9U may be on a game day roster. Remember only three 9U players will  be eligible for competitive soccer the following soccer year
  • up to 9 games scheduled in the fall
  • Games will be played generally on Sundays but some Saturday's may be necessary. 
  • Scores are posted by the teams
  • In the event of a uniform conflict the HOME team must change jerseys or wear cover-ups.
  • Heading NOT ALLOWED
  • Roster Size – Max 16 Players on Game Day
  • Playing Format – 9 v 9
  • 25 minute halves
  • All substitutions are at the sole discretion of the referee, who may permit a team to substitute at any stoppage of play.
  • You may alter a number on a game card if there is an issue in JGAL only. Tape or marker on jerseys is permitted in JGAL only.

Field & Complex Information:

  • You are to provide Corner Flags for each match.
  • No Walking Across the Fields Please
  • No Dogs Allowed
  • Parents sit on Opposite Side of Field from Players
  • No warm-ups in the goal area
  • No blocking / standing / sitting behind the goals.
     

Scheduling Information:

  • All teams will be scheduled  to play each other at least twice.
  • Games could play double headers or Saturdays if needed because of bad weather
  • All game information is found on Got Soccer
  • We will do our best to avoid conflicts between our leagues, Coaches with more than two teams, it is not always possible.
  • Once the schedule is released, the league will NOT reschedule any games for tournament play or indoor play outside of our approved tournaments.

Any rules not covered in the above will follow our LHGCL league rules and policies. This includes, misconduct, forfeits, venue guidelines, etc.
