LHGCL wants ALL of our Players to PINK OUT during October

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month,
LHGCL has purchased enough Pink shoelaces to outfit all the players in our league. In order to show your support, each manager of each team will need to pick up a set of shoelaces for their teams at each of the complexes this weekend.
Check with your manager to get your shoelaces and show your support during the month of October!

Please remember: If you have qualified your team must register for the league through GotSoccer by August 16th and a representative from your team must attend the Coaches/Managers meeting August 17th. See the

3 NTX Teams Crowned National Champions

The US Youth Soccer National Championship Series (State, Regional and National Championships) began with more than 10,000 teams. These teams have been pared down to the 60 national qualifiers in Phoenix following the US Youth Soccer State and Regional Championship competitions. This past weekend, the final 24 teams played for the 12 US Youth Soccer National Championship titles.
Ten North Texas teams traveled to Phoenix, Arizona to compete for the title. From the girls side Sting 97, Sting 96, Sting 95, Dallas Texans Red 95 and Dallas Texans Red 92.
Three of the 6 girls teams emerged National Champions!

2011 Bye Standings (Revised 7/19/2011)
Due to recent enlarging and restructuring of the Lake Highland Girls Classic League, additional byes have opened up for the 2011 fall season. The following are the Divisions with the 2011 byes earned from last year's Grand Champion standing points. The byes are subject to LHGCL rules regarding bye ownership. Lake Highlands reserves the right to amend this list if any discrepancies are discovered.
Your team bye fee and paperwork are due into the Lake Highlands office by July 15. If you have any questions on the bye listing, please contact your 2010 commissioner.

Lake Highlands Girls Dominate at Regionals!

Congratulations to the following teams for
winning 2011 Regionals in Murfreesboro Tennessee,
earning a spot in the National Championship tournament in Phoenix in July:
- Sting 97
- Sting 96
- Dallas Texans 92
The following teams were Regional finalists:
- Sting 95
- Sting 92
- D'Feeters 96
The following teams were Regional semi-finalists:
- D'Feeters 93
- Dallas Texans 94
Dallast Texans 95 will also be representing North Texas and Lake Highlands Girls Classic League at Nationals as the National League winner. In addition,
Sting 95 will be in the hunt for back to back national championships as the regional representative to Nationals, having finished as the finalist in Regionals.

As one of the
top competitive girls leagues in the country we are continually evolving to meet the needs of our players and teams.
In order to focus on these upcoming changes to our league we have decided to cancel the 2011 Spring Round Up tournament.
Stay tuned to our website for upcoming league restructuring change information which will offer our current players continued opportunities to play at the highest competitive level.
